Database contains information of taxonomy, distribution and natural history of the amphibians and reptiles developed at an area known as Los Medanos de Samalayuca, Chihuahua, Mexico. This study is useful for the increase of general understanding of amphibians and reptiles from Mexico and as a tool for developing specific conservation plans for this region.

This database contains 902 specimens corresponding to 10 families, 24 genera and 35 species collected in 76 localities and it pertains to the SNIB
