Database contributes to the organization and systematization of the flora of this region, which was decreed as Biosphere Reserve since September 1998. It includes information of families, genera and species morphological descriptions, distributional and diversity data and common names and uses.

This database contains 7 536 specimens corresponding to 74 families, 441 genera and 1 169 species collected in 2 423 localities and it pertains to the SNIB.
