Challenges

Since its creation in 1992, CONABIO has been faced with the following challenges: to continue supporting biodiversity knowledge and use projects; to consolidate the SNIB & REMIB; to develop other information and analysis systems; and to increase its impact on the planning process for the sustainable use of resources at the national, regional and local level.

According to its mandate and commitments, CONABIO will carry out these duties in coordination with scientists, the private sector, non- governmental organizations and different governmental entities.
