The region of the Huastecas belongs to the basin of the Panuco–Moctezuma rivers, which is famous for the great amount of endemisms. The project includes information from the states of Hidalgo, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi and Veracruz. The database has records of 728 specimens: 13 families, 24 genera and 46 species, and belongs to the SNIB.
