CLIMATES

The study area presents in general three climate types: rainy tropical climate (A), rainy temperate climate (C) and dry climate (B). These climates are distributed as follows: SOUTH, in the form of an island, BS1(h')w climate is found, warm semidry climate with summer rains; we also have warm humid Awo climate with summer rains. In the central part, Aw1 and Aw2 warm humid climates with summer rains, differing in rainfall percentage (humid because they result from orographic rains). Finally, in the southern area we find (A) C(w2), (A)C(w1), and (A)C(wo) climates corresponding to the climatic subgroup of subhumid semiwarm climates with summer rains, but having a different rainfall percentage, from larger to smaller (zone corresponding to the other side of the Sierra, zone of winds with little humidity) and C(w2) subhumid temperate with summer rains.
